Agenda for the Day
09:00 – 09:45 | Registration & Morning Coffee
Venue opens with a light breakfast and networking opportunity as guests arrive. Attendees will be able to explore exhibitor stands featuring innovative EdTech solutions from Estonia and the wider Nordic region.
09:45 – 10:00 | Welcome Address
Speaker: Host Representative (from the chosen venue)
A brief welcome from the hosting venue (Ministry of Education, Edtech Estonia, or Taltech) and a short introduction to Tallinn’s role as a digital leader in education and technology.
10:00 – 10:30 | Opening Keynote: “Shaping the Future of Education: Lessons from Estonia’s Digital Classroom”
Speaker: Keynote Speaker (Estonian Ministry of Education or a prominent EdTech innovator from Estonia)
This session will explore Estonia’s globally recognized digital-first education model and how the country has pioneered the integration of technology into schools.
10:30 – 11:15 | Panel Discussion: “Diverging Visions of AI and EdTech in the Nordic Region”
Moderated panel with speakers from Estonia, Sweden, Finland, and Germany. This session will delve into the varying levels of enthusiasm and caution that Nordic countries are applying to EdTech and AI in education. Special attention will be paid to the contrasting approaches of Sweden, Estonia, and the slower adoption in Germany.

11:30 – 12:30 | Interactive Workshop: “AI in the Classroom: Practical Applications”
A hands-on workshop where participants will engage with real-world case studies and AI tools currently being used in schools across the Nordic countries. Participants will collaborate in small groups to discuss potential challenges and opportunities.
Led by: AI and Education Specialist from Taltech and EdTech Estonia startup representatives.
12:30 – 13:30 | Lunch Break
Buffet-style lunch at the venue, with additional networking opportunities. Attendees can meet prospective new members of the consortium and engage with exhibitors showcasing AI and EdTech innovations.
13:30 – 14:30 | Roundtable Discussions: “Scaling EdTech Innovations Across Borders”
Breakout roundtable discussions where participants choose from the following topics:
- Implementing AI in Early Education: Pros and Cons
- Data Privacy and Security Concerns in EdTech
- EdTech for Lifelong Learning in the Nordic Region
- Bridging the Digital Divide: Equity and Access
Each table will have a moderator to facilitate discussions and ensure key insights are captured for reporting back to the consortium.
14:30 – 15:15 | Case Study Presentation: “How Estonia Built the World’s Most Digitally Connected Education System”
A detailed case study from EdTech Estonia on the digital journey of Estonian schools, highlighting successful policies, key challenges overcome, and lessons for other countries looking to follow suit.
15:15 – 16:00 | Fireside Chat: “What’s Next for EdTech and AI in Nordic Education?”
A relaxed but insightful conversation between thought leaders and EdTech entrepreneurs from across the Nordics. This session will focus on the future potential of AI in education, ethical considerations, and the balance between human-centric and tech-driven learning models.
